The Texas Dog Hunters Association (THDA) is a grass roots organization formed in order to preserve and promote hunting with dogs.  The TDHA is made up of members from Texas, other States, and even a few from other Countries.  The TDHA believes in saving the right to hunt with dogs for future generations.

Buffalo, TX

Since this tournament’s inception in 2010, this tournament has quickly become a popular tournament for competitive hog hunters. In 2011, this tournament gave away a record 20 buckles! This tournament also received attention for the challenging “Biggest Live Stringer of 10” division.

There are currently two tournaments in the 2012 schedule.  The HDTT intends to add a third qualified hog dogging tournament for 2013.
